FAQ - najczęściej zadawane pytania
All our tiles are handcrafted from scratch, specifically for your order (we do not hold ready-made stock). The process of shaping, drying, glazing, and firing takes time, so the standard turnaround time is 3 to 5 weeks. For very large orders, this time is negotiated individually.
Yes and no – and that's the true magic of true craftsmanship! Because each glaze is applied by hand and the tiles are fired in the live fire of the kiln, they may vary slightly in shade, saturation, and crackle pattern. This guarantees that your wall will be absolutely unique.
We always encourage you to order our Sample Set ! Computer or phone screens can distort colors. By ordering samples, you can see firsthand how our proprietary glazes react to your home lighting and how they complement your countertop or furniture.
Absolutely! We fire our ceramics at very high temperatures (approximately 1050°C). This makes the tiles compact, fully waterproof, and perfectly resistant to moisture and high temperatures. They're perfect for showers, kitchen countertops, and as a stunning fireplace surround.
We recommend standard, flexible grouts available on the market. Because handmade tiles have subtly irregular edges, a 2 to 3 mm wide grout works best (this allows for any dimensional differences to be nicely concealed).
Our tiles are very easy to clean. Warm water with a mild detergent (e.g., dish soap) and a soft cloth are all you need. Avoid harsh chemicals (acids) and very abrasive sponges to avoid scratching the shiny glaze.
We have extensive experience in this field! Our tiles are highly protected – we pack them in bundles of 10, wrap them in thick bubble wrap, and line them with Styrofoam/foam inside sturdy boxes. We typically ship convenient courier parcels (up to 30 kg each), and we secure very large project orders on pallets (upon request).
We do everything we can to prevent this, but remember – every shipment we deliver is 100% insured! If your package arrives damaged, please fill out a damage report with the courier upon receipt, take photos, and contact us. We'll activate your insurance and quickly replace the missing items.
Your order is a 100% personalized product – we create a specific shape and fire it in your chosen color from a palette of 120 glazes, especially for you. In accordance with the law on custom-made products, these tiles are not eligible for standard returns. Therefore, we always highly recommend ordering samples in advance!
Yes! We always recommend adding about 10-15% extra space to the calculated wall area. This extra space is necessary for cuts at edges, sockets, and corners. Because we create custom tiles from hand-made glaze, reordering, for example, five missing tiles from the same color batch can be difficult, and the re-firing process itself will take several weeks.
We recommend using a high-quality, highly flexible adhesive for ceramic and stoneware tiles. It's also important to prime the surface to which the tiles will be applied.
